Bowman Dental Group

Dr. Bowman is a very very good dentist. I've been going there for 12 years. I believe the person below had one hygienist who has since left (she was very harsh). In fact, the only bad experiences I had was one of the hygienist who was a bit rough and has since left the group. I've had 2 of their current hygienists and both were pretty good.



I've had probably 6 fillings in the 12 years I've been going there, and didn't feel anything on any of them. I'd say if you don't like the hygienist you get ask for another. But I highly suggest Dr. Bowmen as a dentist. Very nice lady who does great work.

I am still in extreme pain from a routine cleaning, which I have NEVER experienced before other than the usual tenderness. It has been over 24 hours and I still can not eat even soft foods like breads without being in pain. I'm on an applesauce and cottage cheese diet for the next few days after just a routine annual cleaning! They found no cavities which was great but the whole experience was an absolute nightmare!!! I was staring at the cieling and telling myself that I was on a tropical island sipping on a frosty drink as she used the ultrasonic tool to clean my teeth. She had to use the sucking tool and water to wash out the blood in my mouth 3 times while she simply flossed my mouth! My gums never bleed when I floss at home! I really don't recommend this office especially for children, they will fear the dentist for the rest of their lives after this kind of experience! I am calling them shortly to report this pain level and the problems I now have that I didn't have before. They answered most of my questions but I could have used an explanation for their answers. The actual dentist, Dr. Bowman, was incredibly kind but the hygenist got an attitude when I told her that I was in a lot of pain from the cleaning. I felt WAY worse when I left. I would never visit them again and was very disappointed. Inflicting this amount of pain and destruction on a patient's mouth is completely unprofessional and uncalled for in a dental practice!
