Pearl Garden Chinese Restaurant

Female owner was rude when we didn't tip in drive thru.. she looked at receipt Our ticket was almost 40.00 for 2 dinners. She made a comment in anger, gave ugly look, slammed window.
We always tip when we do curb side or dine in,delivery.. We tip generously. We obviously didn't get the memo on tipping etiquette thru fast food drive thru window.
The food was already cooked, no napkins, no plastic ware, no soy, duck sauce as we requested. We have been loyal patrons since they opened 20+ years ago???
Sad that the owner didn't even recognize us but Trust Me, we will find a friendlier restaurant that appreciates it's long time, loyal patrons. FYI If you think you deserve a tip, do curb side or charge a convenience fee... Or, put on your Drive thru Window, or, We appreciate tips for our drive thru servers. However, I still would not tip the owner, she already gets paid plenty.
Here is my final tip:
Smile, be Nice and Friendly! Folks will forgive mistakes made with the order, it happens... but be rude or not engaged with your customers and I promise they will not return. Tuscaloosa has a ton of brand new Restaurants and my $$$ will go to a business that respects and appreciates it's patrons.

Food is great, clean and the people are friendly. I always request bean sprouts are added to my rice and Never has that been a problem. P.S. smells great there are some places I can't get past the smell.

I will never go back there again. Every time I pass by it I lose my appetite.
