Vencor Hospital Northlake

The care at Kindred Northlake is very good. The nurses answer the call light in a timely manner and they explain to you what their doing while their taking care of you. The nurses even explain to me what medications I'm taking and what the medication is for. As well as the name of each them and the symptoms. Jude, the nurse is very helpful. If I need anything Jude would always say he'll go get if for me. As for therapy I love coming to therapy. B, the therapist is awesome! He's an excellent person. He helps you get around, he is very caring and he very concerned about his patients. I'm really enjoying my stay here at Kindred Northlake and I'm glad that I made the choice to come over to receive care at this facility.

Kindred hospital is a good rehab facility

My daughter is a patient at Kindred Northlake. The hospital is very clean. The staff are wonderful people. They are very attentive and come right away. The facility is cleaner than Northwestern! The staff are very compassionate and we are very pleased. Mr and Mrs. Bibbiano.

The nurses and cna's are very good with caring for my husband. They are constantly checking on him and always makes sure he gets what he needs. Staff are nice and very attentive. This is our first experience here and we are very pleased.

This is the worst hospital for the elderly. Do not send your loved one here if they cannot speak or on a feeding tube. The hospital is a nightmare for the elderly. They are neglected. The nurses are far from professional. The patient can code out and they find out a half hour later. The staff is nasty and the CEO's really do not know what's going on. The place is scary. They really don't care believe it.

I really liked my stay at Kindred. All of the therapy personel are awesome. Some of the nurses and aides were very nice also. I tried my best to get better and I have come a long way. I really don't want to leave Kindred and the therapy personel because they have done so much for me. They have brought back my courage to move forward. They are awesome!

I've been hospitalized in about 5 hospitals, and this one has been the greatest. They have good people here, they treat me good, feed me good. The staff takes good care of me and are there when I need them. Doctors did a good job at updating me I think that is very important. I recommend this hospital to family and friends. J. Thomas

At first I was not happy with the hospital, because of certain restrictions that were put on me, then I realized that the staff was just doing what they had to do to in order to maintain my safety. If it was not for the staff I would not be breathing on my own or walking today. All the physical therapist pushed me to get better, in particular Valerie. One only thing I would suggest is for the kitchen to serve hillbilie sandwiches. P. Sepeda

My father has been at your facility and I have seen the progress he has made. I'm sure it has alot to do with the excellent care he has been receiving. The staff at Kindred has been very kind and underderstanding. Keep up the good work!

This is an excellent facility. Everyone is kind and helpful. I went from ICU to the second floor to the first floor and received excellent care. Very friendly staff, rehab is good and wound care is over the top. All of you do good work.

I am thankful that everybody helped me. The Rehab Department is very good to me especially B and Melanie. The nursing department is also very good to me. I would recommend this hospital to anyone. Noemi Garcia.

Wound care was very good. They were careful and gentle and my wound made progress. I am pleased with the care.

Therapy staff was fantastic! All of the staff in rehab really helped push me to get back to walking. Nursing staff always had a smile on their face. Wish I would could have been able to walk around the hallways more. Jean N.

Kindred Northlake Rehab Department helped me get on my feet and helped me to go home. The personnel were great. I look forward going to the rehab gym everyday.
