Dr. Brian K. Cook was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama. In 2005, he received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of South Alabama with magna cum laude honors, before going on to earn his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2010. After dental school, he completed the Six Month Smiles certification program, which allows Dr. Cook to provide short-term braces to his adult patients. His dedication to continuing education has taken him through extensive training in areas of dental health such as aesthetics, smile design, removable prosthodontics, and oral surgery. With a passion for serving the underprivileged, Dr. Cook spent a year working in the public health field of rural North Carolina. At this time, he was provided an opportunity to work in private practice in Thomasville. However, his draw to come back home to Alabama eventually brought him to Huntsville. He also volunteers regularly with 8th Street House in Huntsville to provide essential dental care to the residents at no cost. As a dentist, Dr. Cook enjoys the opportunity that he has to build lifelong relationships with his patients. His conservative approach to dentistry ensures that maximum time is spent with each patient during the treatment planning process and the implementation of minimally invasive procedures when possible. His professional affiliations include: American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry American Dental Association Academy of General Dentistry Alabama Dental Association Madison County Dental Society University Of Alabama School Of Dentistry Alumni Association Dr. Cook and his family are members of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church, where he currently teaches the Junior High Bible Class. He and his wife Esther and their four children enjoy camping and cycling throughout Northern Alabama.
