Jennings County Middle School is an educational facility that offers a range of programs in the areas of academic, art and athletics. Established in 1987, it works for the development of reading, math, language, life and work skills. Jennings County Middle School provides classes in health and physical education and fine and practical arts. It has a student council and technology, math, science, social studies, language arts and builder s clubs. The school maintains a library that stocks a collection of fiction, nonfiction, biographies and reference materials, as well as several computers that provide access to online encyclopedias and other resources through Indiana s virtual online library, INSPIRE. It conducts academic team competitions and extracurricular events and offers counseling services to help students, teachers and parents to understand students ability and achievement levels. Jennings County Middle School is a part of Jennings County Schools, which governs an early education center and elementary, middle and high schools.
