DO NOT SEND YOUR CLOTHES to Best Value. They put a hole in the back of a sweater of mine and when I TRIED to talk to Aaron, Manager about it, he said that he would do nothing about it! He was unbelievably angry, sarcastic rude, bitter and said that he had enough customers -my business didn't matter and would not do anything about the HOLE they created in my sweater. He sunk a couple of steps lower when he shrunk a $400.00 sweater of my sons-it was a medium size and is now smaller than an extra small - NOT WEARABLE, (like my sweater) and ruined by the poor, cheap and fast dry clean methods and chemicals they use. NO RESPONSIBILITY ON THEIR PART HOWEVER. Aaron said there would be absolutely no compensating for that sweater either - He actually said that we were just out for the money!! DO NOT PATRONIZE BEST VALUE AND this bitter, resentful little person who considers himself a businessman and his cheap way of treating people so poorly and ruining your clothes.

Beware of Best Value Dry Clean...

Beware of Best Value Dry Cleaners & Laundry on 15 South Highway 89 in North Salt Lake, Utah. The owner, Aaron M Roundy, (Business License 1816) cares nothing about his customers/clients. The dry cleaner lost my pants I turned in to be dry cleaned on June 11, 2012. Since that date they have not contacted me nor returned my multiple calls one single time to reconcile the issue. I have called and traveled personally to the business over 27 times now since June 11th and the staff stated they have given him my number and message multiple times and spoke with him personally about the issue and my request for a call. At this point, I am having to file a small claim against the business just to collect on a pair of pants and am filing a report today with the Better Business Bureau. Very poor business and mismanagement from Mr. Roudy.

WORST service EVER!

I have been using Best Value Dry Cleaners for nearly three years, but that came to a screeching halt today as I was verbally assaulted on the telephone by the owner after complaining about an item damaged under their care.

I had a sweater that I brought in to be cleaned about two weeks ago. As I took the plastic cover off of it when I got home, I noticed a small hole in the front of it. I brought it back to Best Value a few days later and asked that they repair the sweater or reimburse me for my loss. The manager/owner was not in and the person working took my info and sweater and said that he would call the following day. Well, 9 days passed without word, so I stopped back in today to see what happened. The associate working couldn't find my sweater so got the owner on the phone. As soon as I got on the phone the owner immediately raised his voice and starting telling me about how there was no way his processes could've caused the damage. I insisted it wasn't there when I dropped it off (because it wasn't), and at this point he began yelling at me. I asked if he was really speaking to one of his customers in this way and he said "I am the owner and can do whatever I want." I was astonished that he was actually saying those words to me! He went on to say "If you think I am writing you a check for your sweater, you are wrong!" I said, "actually I love that sweater, and just got it, and I just want it repaired. I'm also upset that you've had my sweater over a week and never called me back to tell me there was nothing you are willing to do." He responded, "So are you mad I didn't call or that your sweater has a hole in it?" "Both, actually," I responded. YES, this is all true (and unbelievable!). I am a retail multi-unit manager who oversees 13 stores, and I would fire any associate of mine if they spoke to a customer in this way. He also mentioned that I could go into any dry cleaner and they have signs that say they are not responsible for any lost or damaged items. I asked him where his sign was (there isn't one!), and he replied "I don't need one because I own this place." Hmmm...really?! The call ended without apology and him saying my sweater would be back in an hour for me to pick up (still damaged, mind you- and four hours later, not one!), and then him asking me to promise never to come back there. REALLY?! I could've promised him that minutes prior! And now, I am hoping you will follow my advice and not take your clothes to this cleaner...because they have terrible service (after telling my neighbor about this today, she also mentioned that her husband's shirt came back from Best Value with GUM on it!!), and a unbelievably rude owner/manager. I find it appalling that this owner would rather lose a customer than pay $40 to replace a sweater. This does not seem like a good business plan, but that's just me!!!
