E. Ethel Little School offers academic classes for students in kindergarten through grade five. It provides instructive sessions in reading, art, music, and special and health education. The school operates a parent-teacher organization that works for student welfare. E. Ethel Little School also offers health services and guidance counseling programs, as well as has a school improvement council. It is a part of North Reading Public Schools, which governs various elementary, middle and high schools. Each school governed by North Reading Public Schools administers summer enrichment and Title 1 programs and provides lunch options to students. Its schools academic curriculum includes math, social studies, science, language arts, and technology and engineering.
