Famous Tire Shop

After weeks of searching for wheels, a friend with the same truck as me steered me to this location.. They have a huge showroom with lots of great options.. Customer service was outstanding & I got help & opinions from everyone working there.. Financing & installation was quicker then imagined & the price for the quality of wheels I bought was cheaper then I expected!! I would definitely recommend this place to other!!!

It's cheap for a reason! When your spending alot of money on wheels and tires, you want professionals installing them. I am all about quality.

I would like to respond to the previous response about the financing offered at Famous Tire Shop. First, the finance company that is used is called progressive and they offer a no credit check finance option. The way the financing is done is very simple progressive process the application for us and then they issue the approval amount, if the customer wants to use the financing they have to pay a 25.00 application fee and 6% down. For instance if we sell the customer something for 1300.00, and the customer is approved for the 1300.00 we send the approval over to progressive for that and then progressive sends us a funding packet over for the customer to sign. When we receive the payment for the customer it is short 25.00 and 6% of the 1300.00. Which means that progressive gave us only 1197.00 at this time we would collect 103.00 from the customer to bring our selling price up to 1300.00. If we were trying to cheat or deceive someone we would include the 6% in the original sale, we do not do that at Famous. We tell the customer that there is a 25.00 application fee and 6% down we do not get paid 6% from progressive they take it from us and we charge it back to the customer. If the customer who wrote the previous quote would like to see how we are funded I would be happy to show you the paper work, just feel free to contact the owner at the store. If anyone has done business with us in the past they know we do not cheat our customers out of anything. If progressive did not charge it to us we would not charge it back to the customer. They have to charge it in order to offer this type of financing, if the customer was paying with cash and not needing time to pay out the wheels they would not have to go through the financing and pay the fees. I hope this clear up some of the confusion on the financing

I only gave them one star because this site made me, I would have given them a negative. Maybe some of you don't care cause financing at Famous Tire Shop is the easiest in place in North Little Rock to get wheels and tires. They are charging consumers like myself 6% and a $25 app fee. They say the 6% is for their commission on the sale. I am all for that but the company they finance with (Progressive) pays them the 6% commission and then they turn around and beat us out of it again. On your receipt they make it look like it has come off the price of the wheels but if you dont pay attention to the contract, like i didn't, you will miss where it hasn't and they don't point it out to you. I dont know about you all but times are to hard to be paying someone for something that does not have to be paid by you. I personally called Progressive and they had no idea of this. Yes the make alot of sales but something should be done and I'm not gonna rest until it is. The beat me twice before I realized and found out what they are doing.
