I enjoy this dentists services

I moved to Las Vegas and needed a family dentist close to my house and this place met both needs and were acceepting new patients. We have insurance and they accepted it. My family and I have been seen several times by them and always with great care. They explain thouroughly the needed work and once I agree, we can proceed in a timely manner. I was never rushed out of there because they wanted to close aas I was even the last patient seen during my last visit. So before you trust what the other two people say, give them a call and if you don't agree with something they say, go ask another dentist for an opinion. I think they do a great job.

I have never felt so bad in my life. Please don't go to this dentist. The office assistant Anna has a chip on her shoulder and she needs to have some customer service training.

BUYER BEWARE

I am extremely disapointed with my dental experience here. I had the same dentist for 20 yrs until he recently retired, forcing me to find another dentist.Initially I went in for a broken filing and walked out with a root canal & crown and a $1250.00 bill. I was $1500.00 but since I was a cash patient I received a 20% discount. I dont have dental insurance but qualified for financing from a 3rd party financial institution. All this was fine except I was in the dentist chair for 5 hours for one root canal and temp crown. WHY?? Because with out asking me, I had a person in training performing some of the procedure, which made it last 5 hours because she had to redo the preppng of my temp crown several times. She doesnt have her license as a dentist, yet I was charged dentist prices. I made a follow up appt to get my permanent crown and to also have my teeth cleaned. I was told that I HAD TO GET A TOTAL MOUTH X-RAY AND TOTAL DENTAL EXAM OF $140.00 before they would clean them. I was also told that it would cost between $70.00 and $300.00 for the actual cleaning, which was tolerable under the circumstances. Being that I the most I have ever paid to have my teeth cleaned was $75.00 I felt it was excessive but none the less, I needed my teeth cleaned.I was told that it would take about 3 hours to do the entire exam, xray and cleaning. I took a 1/2 day off of work to go back and have my teeth cleaned along with placement of my permanent crown.

I arrived promptly at my appt time. They did the x-rays, and my glued my permanent crown on. The dentist then told me I had some cavities and completed my exam. Then the dentist began cleaning my teeth. I was experiencing some discomfort and the dentist began to numb me up. About 15 minutes into the cleaning the dentist abruptly stops and says I need to talk with the lady up front.I ask if there is a problem and was told nothing was wrong, I justed needed to talk to this lady. So she comes in to my room, while I am in the dental chair with my wonderful blue clip on bibb and begins telling me that it is going to cost $640.00 to clean my teeth. Keep in mind that in lieu of some cavites between my teeth, I had nothing major wrong with my teeth. Maybe some minor gingivitis but after the $30K worth of previous dental work I have had done prior, my teeth are not in bad condition.

At this point I am in the middle of the procedure and I tell them well, OK. However folks the dentist says that I will have to come back again in order to continue with the procedure. WHY MIGHT YOU ASK?? BECAUSE THEY WERE CLOSING AND WANTED TO LEAVE. YES THATS RIGHT THEY WERE CLOSING FOR THE DAY.

So now they want me to reschedule AGAIN to come back. Along with an estimate of $640.00 to clean my teeth , I am told that I need an additional $4500.00 in dental work. From the sounds of it you would think I looked like some homeless person with decaying teeth falling out of their head. I can tell you I have decent teeth, and brush every day. I know I have some minor tartar build up, with a few cavities between my molars. The entire ordeal was extremly infurating, and just down right unprofessional. On a positive note I will say this. The staff, and the dentists were all very nice, and gentle. Even the shots went well. So folks, if you have a ton of money to just throw around and have plenty of time to spare than you will be happy at this dentist. I HOWEVER AM NEVER GOING BACK, AND AM CONSIDERING FILING A COMPLAINT WITH BOTH THE BBB AND THE DENTAL ASSOCIATION. I would NEVER reccomend them.
