Sierra Park Townhomes

I am a current resident of Sierra Park Towhomes (aka Highland Townhomes). This is place is it's own universe. If you want to live in place unlike any you have ever been before than this is just the place for you. The majority of the residents are actively unemployed and refuse to find gainful employment. Most have never worked their entire lives and encourage their children to follow in their same foot steps. Your neighbors will be lazy, on unemployment or disability collectors on welfare who do nothing all day long but sit around waiting for the first of the month to come around when they get their EBT cards reloaded even though there is no other reason they will not work except that they just don't want to. They will spread rumors about other neighbors almost for no reason other than jealously, especially if they work and live productive lives, those will be the most target. Their homes are sloppy and dirty and all they will do is complain about how terrible the management here is. They cram their families into small units, violate policies and then complain all day long about it. I can tell you first hand-it's not management, it's the the type of people who live here that are the problem. If I were the manager I would have blown my brains out by now having to deal with the most rude, classless, ghetto people you will ever have the privilege of having to live near. The will complain about trash every where but if they miss the dumpster they won't pick even their own trash and leave it on the ground by the dumpster. They will complain about all the stray cats, but they will feed them. Management is doing it's best to clean up this place, and by that I mean get rid of the bad people and start moving in quality tenants, but unfortunately that takes time. They had to start with a huge mess when they took over, so I am sympathetic to the arduous process they have to go through. This place will be something great one day. But for now, unless you want to live next to drug dealers, hear gunshots in the distance, and see the cops raid the complex this might not be the place for you, and if you want privacy from your neighbors it definitely is not. Being a hardworking upstanding citizen will only make you a target where people smile in your face and stab you in the back. Adults here could not function in the real world where respect, common courtesy, and controlled behavior is a natural way of life-here the opposite is the way of life. Don't get me wrong there are some great people here but they are few and far between. As for the units they are nice and spacious if looking at two bedrooms and above.
