David's TV Repair

This is THE place to call if you need your TV repaired! Our 52" TV went out on us and it was a $40 house call fee. David and I made an appointment for Saturday at 1:30 and he was 1/2 hour early. Also, after he opened up the TV, he estimated the cost to repair would be around $400 (it's a Sony and two boards went out), so my husband and I decided not to repair it since comparable sets can be purchased brand new at less than $200 over the repair estimate. We asked him if he could take the TV off our hands and he said, "Yes." Thinking that it would cost extra for him to recycle it for us, I asked how much we owed him for the house call and the recycling. He told us there would be no charge because the TV still had some parts that he could use for repairing other sets, so he felt that he'd be making more than $40 off our TV! Now THAT's an ethical businessman!
