X-rays
Traditionally, dental X-rays are taken yearly or every other dental checkup. X-ray imaging can help track your child’s teeth as the primary teeth come-in/fall-out and the permanent teeth replace them. X-rays are highly valuable for both adults and kids because they can help dentists track any issues with tooth decay.
Oral Cancer Screening
When you go to your dentist every 6 months, your dentist’s goal is to help prevent various dental health issues. Primarily, we go to the dentist to find out if we have any signs of tooth decay or gum disease. But some dentists also provide oral cancer screenings. Not every dentist provides this service, so it is important to ask your dentist if they do. Oral cancer can show up around the lips, tongue, gums, or throat. Fluoride Treatment

Fluoride can help restore damaged enamel. They might also recommend a fluoride toothpaste to further restore your tooth. At your next dental visit they will check the area to make sure the cavity has not progressed and that the enamel has returned.
Dental Sealants
