Empire Barber Shop

I have gotten a hair cut twice at this location reluctantly and the time that the barber takes is abnormally long. The workers do not acknowledge people coming in waiting to get a haircut. In fact when customers are waiting they go and take long extended smoke breaks and ignore people waiting as though business is booming. It sad that the workers have no customer service skills and are actually driving away business. I'm sure that they have a few selected repeat clients but how long will that last. I refuse to spend money at a place where the owner has poor social skills and those same habits are reflected with their workers. In fact I went in today because it is the only location near me and the owner had the nerve to tell me that they were all booked up and it was because of appts that he and one other worker had. He said that they were one worker short and no one else was waiting and they were just finishing off two clients that were there for a while. If you are wise you will do yourself a favor and spend money wisely somewhere else. There is one professional worker I've noticed who usually works later in the evening and does a great job who wears glasses. I highly recommend his work ethic and skill level. Everyone else needs to be trained on how to interact and treat potential clients and customers to keep the business going.
