        Very hurt and disappointed by the way I was treated at Womens Healthcare of Norman. When I arrived for my 20 week appointment and ultrasound, I informed the receptionist that we would no longer need to prepay for the birth because we had decided to hire a midwife. Not because we wanted to leave the office, but we wanted to have our birthing experience at home. We by no means wanted to discontinue my care completely from this office, I just simply did not want to be seen regularly. The receptionist then proceeded to tell me that they would no longer be providing we with the ultrasound that I had scheduled 4 weeks prior. I was extremely upset because we were suppose to find out the gender that day. This is not right! I have insurance and I was able and willing to pay for the ultrasound that we had waited so long for, but was still denied service. I will now be looking for a new OB office that I can go to as I need to, and will treat me as a patient and customer should be treated.
