This was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. I will NEVER buy a chevrolet from this dealership again. And I hope that none of my friends or family ever go there to be one of their victims. I am deeply appalled that Chevrolet uses this dealership to sell new chevrolet vehicles to consumers. As a single mother of a special needs son since I was 18 and a federal employee facing furloughs, shutdowns, pay freezes, etc., I worked very hard to purchase my first new vehicle from Chevrolet. I am very disappointed and financially harmed by this whole experience. I wish I never bought this vehicle. This was supposed to be an exciting purchase but it was horrible. The price was ridiculous. Today is 42 days after the sale, expired temporary plates, no title, no estimate of the damage on my trade in as promised, and they still refuse to provide copies of all the paperwork I signed after I have made multiple requests which violates consumer rights and is deeply disturbing that something as simple as wanting copies of what I signed cannot or will not be provided. How does a dealership sell a new car and not ever provide copies of what was signed??? After my contacts with salesperson Raul Herrera, New Chevy sales Manager Aaron Tully, Finance Ryan Otis, customer relations manager lisa McKelvey, general manager Mike evans all failed to even attempt to resolve all of these issues as they stated they "don't know what to tell me, there is nothing they can do" and "it's not their fault" and "it's not their problem", I had no other option but to file a claim with Oklahoma Motor Vehicle Commission that was able to resolve some but not all issues. I am needing service on my vehicle after only a few hundred miles which I cannot do because I do not even have anything about servicing or what is covered or anything because i was never provided copies of what i signed. Also, the dealership caused me a financial loss as they deducted value on my trade in due to rear end damage from a recent accident that the responsible party is ready and willing to pay the damage to me out of pocket so i can recover that loss but when i took my trade in to the dealership the salesman told me "oh your vehicle isn't going anywhere, I will take it across the street where we get our body work done and get an estimate for you and you can pick it up when you come back to get your second key". i agreed to leave them the vehicle and signed the title to them as i trusted them to do what they promised. if they had not made this promise, i NEVER would have signed the title to them or left the vehicle. I would have gone to get it done somewhere else and returned my trade in and title when i had the estimate. Now the dealership tells me they never sent it like they promised and the have sold it so they have no way of knowing what the damage was. therefore, i have no way of knowing what amount to provide the responsible party and i cannot recover that loss. I don't know if the damage was $200 or $2000 that was the whole point in getting the estimate so the guy who hit me knows what to pay. And now all this dealership can say is "oh well, don't know what to tell you". This is absolutely ridiculous this thieving dealership just ripping off consumers like me who just wanted to buy a safe reliable new car without getting robbed and this is the nightmare I have had to deal with for over a month! I am desperately coming to Chevrolet to find a resolution since this dealership obviously has no intention on resolving it and definitely do not care about the customer now that their check for $21,000 has cleared.

I WOULD NOT EVEN GIVE THIS PLACE ONE STAR after the treatment I recived. I cant believe the horrible customer service skills within this organization. I was lied to, they shot gunned my credit, and even the manager seemed not to care. I would not recommend this place to anyone. This is the email I replied back to after they accidentally sent it to me upon a trade inquiry. I am sure it was a mistake, because no one has returned my calls about the issue I faced with them.

Oh Good morning to you Sir, So first of all I never had a Tahoe or Suburban. I would like to take the time to tell you "Thank you for your assistance". I still have not heard back from you or Steve for that matter on ANY vehicle. I am so upset with the way you treated me, lied to me, and then just sent me away with no option to purchase a new car. I thought when I came in there you maybe cared about me telling you my situation but you did not, obviously because you did exactly WHAT YOU SAID YOU WERE NOT GOING TO DO.



First you confirmed with 3 times about the color of the Equinox you were getting form the 240 store on Sunday evening, then you cut me off on the phone when you called me Monday morning, when I asked about the 'WHITE' Equinox and said YOU HAD IT AT THE STORE along with the other two Malibu. Upon arrival you told me the one Malibu was sold that morning, then the other Malibu was given as a courtesy vehicle, then you lied directly to me about even getting the Equinox to the store, saying you never told me that..(did you already I know I would not of even come up there to see cars, if the WHITE Equinox from the 240 store was not there?). You then ask me to fill out a form for IN STORE financing, tht WILL NOT HIT my credit. You even asked me how much I paid for Trans Union because you pay $14.00 a month. You ENSURED me it was not going to shot gun my credit, and only was going to see if you could get 1.9 thru GMC, Chevy. I even left my social security number off, so you would have to come back and I again confirmed IT WOULD NOT HIT MY CREDIT???? You again ensured me it would not. After an hour and 45 minutes, you come outside to tell me you are trying to get the Malibu back from the lady so I can drive it. Then you simply said when I get a vehicle here for you I will text you pictures. SO NOW HERE IT IS A WEEK LATER AND STILL NOTHING.....but you want to ask me to bring my trade in....REALLY! I then called Steve once I saw my credit was hit 6 times I believe but Steve even said another back I do not even see on there..He tried to tell me that was form another car place, and he said he would talk with you because with my credit score I could get into any car on the lot...SO NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK...HUMMM find that to be odd. So I have attached a copy of what you pulled which you KNEW exactly what you were doing. I think it is horrible that someone takes advantage of a single mother and could care less what she asks for. I am not sue if you ask God for forgiveness every night or is your heart just so COLD it does not even matter to you. I think it is horrible, and I asked you for honesty and you ensured me you would be honest, and YOU LIED...... Let me just tell you , YOU NEVER KNOW WHO YOU ARE WORKING WITH WHEN A CUSTOMER COMES IN. People have ties and are connect within a community, just to let you know that. I hope you can sleep at night with the way you deceive people....BUT THANKS AGAIN FOR THE INQUIRY ON MY TAHOE OR SUBURBAN......

Bought what we thought was a great car from David Stanley Chevrolet Norman - 2004 Mercedes 500SL - fair price, etc. Cannot complain about finance dept. etc... part of the terms were that the warning lights we saw on dash (said brake lining wear - visit workshop - and abc - visit workshop) - which we thought were both brake messages - would be taken care of. Salesman Jerry (internet sales) agreed that ALL warning lights should be taken care of - we signed contract (which said brakes would be fixed) and took car, on way HOME that night warning light for ABC turned bright RED - said 'drive carefully' - we looked it up, turns out that warning light was for the hydraulics system, not brakes. Called David Stanley next day, spoke to Sales manager who said they would look at it that Thurs when we brought it in for brakes. They gave us a loaner, said they sent car to the Mercedes dealership in Oklahoma City - we asked "the one on Broadway?" Jerry said "Yes. The one on Broadway downtown." - He told us "Everything that is wrong with that car will be fixed by the Mercedes dealer." 4 days later we got a call to pick up car - we asked what was wrong, Jerry said, "They didn't find anything wrong with the hydraulics. Everything that was supposed to be fixed has been fixed." and we drove to Norman to pick car up. Got in, put in reverse, and the ABC lights came back on. Pulled RIGHT back into parking spot and told Jerry, who said he would have Mercedes dealer call us. When we asked for their report on the hydraulics & checkup he said, "I don't have the printout with me, but I can email it to you, and have the Mercedes dealer call you back." We agreed, then didn't hear from them for 2 more days. Called Jerry TODAY (3rd day) and he basically told us to pound sand, that "We didn't really make any money on the car, and you are going to have to take care of the rest of the issues yourselves. All we agreed to fix were the brakes, and they have been fixed." - Okay - a little angry now because they TOLD us they would take care of EVERYTHING that was wrong with the car, and now we are told to pound sand... so we called the Mercedes dealership on Broadway downtown. The service manager Tiffany said that they had no record the car had ever been brought in. Then she checked the VIN and said that the car had never been brought to ANY Mercedes dealership in the STATE! So David Stanley Chevrolet not only LIED about fixing 'everything that needs to be fixed', they flat-out LIED and said they took it to the Mercedes dealership and that Mercedes didn't find ANYTHING WRONG with the hydraulics. When we talked to Tiffany at Mercedes today, she warned us that if we drove the car we could damage it further, and that it was not safe to drive like that! So David Stanley lives up to the name again - they are ALL crooks - even though they tell you they are 'not affiliated'!!! They put our lives in jeopardy - literally! The car is not safe, and we were told that Mercedes checked everything out & there was NOTHING WRONG with the car! I was going to give them rave reviews on Yelp and everywhere, but now we have to go the opposite direction. Please feel free to reply & contact us - we have evidence the lights were on when they posted the car online - so it was bad when they had it on the lot and they knew it and did not disclose it. Buyer beware I guess - but ESPECIALLY if buying from David Stanley Chevrolet in Norman, OK!

I first spoke to Toby on the phone and he was the friendiest car sales person I have ever dealt with. The next day, I went down to the dealership

and as Toby was busy with another customer, his sister showed me the trucks. Then Adam did the rest and it was lots of fun.

I brought our vehicle here to have the recalls worked on. I dropped the car off at the service center at 7 AM. The lady I gave my information to asked for my name, number, and address. I let her know I was there for recalls. She said, "Okay, please sign here" and I did. They took 2 days with it, and my husband called to get an update. The man he spoke with said that they ran diagnostics on it because the check engine light and air bag lights were on and we needed to have roughly $2,000 worth of work done. My husband told the man, "no, thank you. We only wanted the recalls done." The man then proceeded to tell my husband it would be a $97 charge for the diagnostics. My husband let him know that we did not ask for the diagnostics to be ran and would not be paying that fee. The man in the service department then called my phone and asked if I requested a diagnostics, and I told him no. He said "Well you signed the form saying you were." I told him "No, I signed the form with my name, address, and telephone number and that I was dropping it off for 2 recalls." He then proceeded to tell me that he has "worked with the lady who wrote the ticket for years and she would not lie and just add something to a ticket. She said you asked for the diagnostics." And I told him I did not and I would not be paying that fee because we did not need the tests to be ran. He then told me that "Well I guess we will just have to eat that fee and pay the technician ourselves." and then hung up on me.



I called back and asked to speak to the manager. I asked him if it is customary for the service guys to hang up on callers. He said, "No, and I was just informed of the situation that you do not want to pay the diagnostics." I told him exactly what I told the other gentleman. I did not request the diagnostics be ran so I would not be paying the fee. He asked if I mentioned the check engine light and/or air bag light. I told him no, I did not ask anybody to look at them and I did not even mention the lights were on at all because I did not want them looked at or think they would just go looking for the problems and doing whatever they wanted and charging whatever they wanted for things we did not ask for. He then began saying "I have worked with both of them for over 10 years. I don't see her just making up that you requested the diagnostic and adding it to the ticket after you left. I also can't see him just hanging up on you." I continued to let him know that I never requested the diagnostic and even SUGGESTED that you guys should give out copies of the tickets that are signed to help prevent this from happening in the future. He then said, "Well, we will just have to pay the fee and give you the benefit of the doubt then."



I have never been so upset or felt so disrespected before. I do not appreciate that the first service man I spoke to kept insinuating I was lying or trying to cheat the company out of $97. Furthermore, I do not appreciate the manager of the service department then standing behind what the service man and the woman said or did and also insinuating that I was lying or trying to cheat the company out of $97. It was VERY unprofessional. I honestly do not care if they thought I was lying or trying to cheat the company out of money. Neither of these feelings should EVER be portrayed to the customer. I will never recommend this dealership to any of my friends or family. If I am ever asked for an opinion, I will definitely suggest that regardless of where they go, they do NOT go to this dealership.

I purchased a vehicle at David Stanley on Labor Day and Ron Ake assisted us. He and his manager that day were exceptionally helpful! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and the high quality of service that they provided.

Last night, 10/13/14, I returned with my daughter to look at a specific vehicle for her. We didn't particularly care for the car we came to see, but Luther Thompson, who was helping us, and his manager, Jerry (sorry don't remember the last name ) worked very hard to find us a vehicle that suited my daughters needs. Again, both men made the experience very pleasant and painless! My congratulations on having a sales staff that is second to NONE, and a facility that is very nice!! Everyone, especially Ron and Luther, were very pleasant and enjoyable to work with. They worked very hard to make sure that we were satisfied with our purchase, and at an agreeable price. In the future I will tell everyone I know that the best experience I have EVER had purchasing vehicles was at David Stanley Chevrolet, and I will tell them to ask for Ron and/or Luther. Great guys!! Obviously, you can expect all of my business in the future as well.

When you find vehicles online they charge you full price than it takes months to get mso on the vehicle. Better off going elsewhere. When you do get someone on the phone about your problem they never calk back. Jerriet does not act like a professional . I called over 100 times to get things straight and not 1 time did he return a phone call.

Les is an all round top notch person. Knowledgeable on Corvettes and not a pushy salesman. There were a bunch of what looked like vaccuum salesmen lurching around the lot and I am glad I did not have to deal with any of them. I have referred my brother to Les and he has also ordered a Corvette. I feel like Les is a friend now. I will be back every couple of years to trade in my car and get another one and I will do that wherever Les is and only with Les.
