My wife and I have been with Tony for about 20 years. Fair pricing and excellent service. He has successfully fixed many major car problems over the years.

after several weeks after the work was done on my vehicle, I would have to say NO I do support local businesses and sole owners of a business who want to be their own boss. I have no problem with the work when done and or the parts. Maybe local residents get treated more fairly then out of state customers. I was quoted 3 hours for labor for some work. Was charged for 3 hours of labor, when if fact my vehicle was only worked off and on for 1 1/2 hours. the parts came from the same local supplier in two separate deliveries 90 minutes apart. sorry, but the owner Tony, was always on the phone, waiting for parts, test driving customers vehicles when they stopped in for estimates, booking customer appointment, accepting payment for completed work. I don't feel I should have to pay for labor ( 1 1/2 hours ) when work was NOT being done on my vehicle. I feel I was overcharge by $100.00 on the work I had done.

I have been going to Lasher Automotive for approx 9 years. He is a fair and honest mechanic which is hard to come by now days. I am always in and out within a reasonable amount of time. I trust Lasher Automotive for all my auto needs 100%!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO LASHER, took advantage of a young couple who needed a simple repair. The car was towed in, but the repair didn't even last a day. When taken to another mechanic, he was shocked at what they had done. When Lasher automotive was called about the fact that they really didn't fix the car, the response was basically "to bad" and that they would not refund the money paid for the repair. We are like most people these days who are struggling to make ends meet, but had to spend the money to make sure we had tranportation to work. This car is also used to transport our 7 month old child, and I am appalled that they took our money without doing the proper work and jeopardized our family's safety.

Went to Lasher automotive for a brake job. Was in and out in no time at all and now my car finally stops without the horrible noise. Very honest mechanic and very fair price. Would definitely recommend Lasher automotive to anyone in need of vehicle repairs who is looking for a fair and honest mechanic!

Really good service and also honest, this company won't leave you waiting hours for something like an oil change like most places do.

Retracting my earlier negative review and changing rating to average. DIdn't get the repairs done there so can't really say.

Greate Fair Service!! I was on my way to an overnight with my wife when my car broke down. We were able to drive for a while and happened upon Lasher auomotive. I was desparate to get this fixed and would have been a good candidate to be price gouged. I explained my delime to Tony (the owner) and he qiuckly took a look at my car. I was ready to just call a rental car place and leave it there. Tony assured me it can and woukld be fixed so I could go on. Long story short he was able to fix my car at a fair price and did not take advantage of me. I am sure if the other reviewer needed a serpintine belt he probably did . In this case I was pretty dead without it.

I was refered to Lashers by a friend. I went for a inspection. I was told my truck needed a new serpentine belt for 60 dollars or it would fail. Serpentine belt is not even on the NYS inspection list. I drove an hour to my normal mechanic and stated the following:1) Serpentine belt is not part of inspection2) removing my currently valid inspection sticker is illegal and he could lose his permit3) My truck passed inspection with flying colorsThe person who handled my inspection was I believe the owner. He has red hair. I am furious with this person trying to dupe me. I do not know alot about vehicles but my father and uncle are mechanics and they instructed me to LEAVE Lashers. I was charged for my failed inspection 21 dollars and told that after repairs it would cost another 11 dollars to reinspect.This place is not good. I have had this one experience with them and dont care to ever do business again! I am going out of my way to post this to every comment board I can find.
