Sunspot Tanning & Nail Salon

I have went to Danelle for years, so I was excited to say the least when she got her own salon! I am very happy she took this next step in her career and there is no one more deserving. She takes great time and care with every customer. I would highly recommend this salon, and she is amazing with color and braids, I would give more stars if I could! ����

As someone who knows an employee personally there, and used to be a regular tanner, I would not recommend this place at all. The employees blatantly gossip about each other in front of customers, and about the customers as well! They make fun of people while they're in the tanning bed. Speaking of the tanning beds, the beds aren't always cleaned properly, I layed in one right after someone had used a tingle lotion and got badly burned because it wasn't wiped off all the way, and the rooms don't have the cleaner in it to do it yourself.



Several customers have complained about the fans being so dusty that it blew dust on them while they were tanning, and an employee, i won't say who, told a friend of mine that the girl in charge of cleaning refuses to do it.



All the ladies were on their phones, showing each other other employees texts, laughing at their facebook statuses. And last but not least, when I was getting a service done, I won't say which, I was told by the woman doing it that it was a bunch of "tedious bullsh*t", it's a waste of time, and she rolled her eyes and sighed the entire time while doing it. This salon needs an entire makeover, starting with replacing almost every employee. Every salon is bound to be a little catty (although it SHOULDN'T), but if you sunspot girls are reading this PLEASE BE PROFESSIONAL IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS.

The experience was terrible with a dog running around the salon. Who knew if I was allergic to dogs they didn't ask. The girl was very inexperienced ,she only had her license for three months. The price for the manicure was ok but the price for the pedicure was terrible , she doesn't know how to do a pedicure at all . It was a waste of money the 42.00 dollars I paid I might have thrown it in the trash instead. I will never go back and I will never recommend this salon to anyone. ZERO STAR RATING

This place is a pretty nice place to go, nice people and just a good atmosphere.
