        A real gem

        As the oldest working tavern in the US,The WhiteHorse Tavern is full of charm and history. We have been going for 15 years and although it has had it's ups and downs, it is currently at a peak of performance. The staff is friendly, knowledgable, and attentive. The food is excellent, we especially enjoy Sunday brunch, when we can have the delicious frittata, and the house made link sausage...the drinks are great..especially if you like spicey Bloody Marys.

        We Loved it! Money Ain't a Thing!

        The food was exceptional, the service top-notch, and an ambiance was unlike anything else in Newport. I took my girlfriend here, well actually, she took me, and we couldn't have asked for a better night out! Yes, it was expensive, but I am an amazing loan officer, so money doesn't really matter. I demand the finer things in life, and the White Horse Tavern delivered. This is the kind of place even Sir Sean Connery would enjoy!
