Advantage Dental Clinics

I have been going to the Newport Advantage going on a couple of years now. I have never encountered any of the problems a lot of the reviews state. I have watched many times people come into the office being impatient and demanding. I guess people don't think about or just don't care that there is only one person working that front desk and answering phones. It is not the front desk that is at fault if appointments are a long time out! It is not a job that one person should have to be dealing alone. I remember when I worked jobs where I catch hell from the public because the public wants instant gratification, when I was just doing the best I could at a job that was overwhelming with demands and under staffed. I do not feel I am better than the next and I want good service too, but something to remember is you get as good as you give. So just be happy your not dealing with the every day attitudes served up when you show up to do a job the best you care with what your given to work with. Under staffed under payed under peoples anger just for doing what you can with what you got. My hats of to Alexs for not loosing her mind....you go girl and Thank You for the help you do give..

It's like pulling teeth to get an app good luck

the Newport advantage dental dentist was so rude, abrupt, disrespectful,he acted like he was doing me a favor gracing me with His presence. I would never go back to that office except to pick up my xrays if they will release them to me which I hope they will so I don't have to pay for another exam and xrays at another dentist. The advantage dental clinic in Corvallis said that they had heard the same thing from many people. coming from is that dentistS mouth that they treat people like cattle. That the Newport office dentist assumes all his patients are on the Oregon Health Plan low income and have to go to him. That the dentist doesn't understand the concept that cash patients can go to any dentist they like including one that might smile at them or not be rude to them. Now I am stuck with the problem of trying to find a dentist to pull 3 teeth and give me five fillings & doing it without having to pay another exam fee and another xray fee!!!! I am going to have to drive over an hour and a half one way to find another dentist office that I can afford because advantage dental in Newport is affordable but horrid service and their receptionist is just as hideous as their dentist. I wouldn't send my dog there to get his teeth cleaned. I have searched the web for an hour and of course there is no email address to complain to on file anywhere they don't want to receive complains because then I'd have to hire a staff of ten to read them all.I am super upset that I have so much dental work that needs done and that this is just dragging it out it's rude it's horrible it's it's a crappy dentist I wouldn't go there I wouldn't take my children there I wouldn't take anybody there I wouldn't let a bomb go there if they were going to give free dental service that place is just wrong in every way shape and form. I thought the Corvallis advantage dental office was going to be cool because they didn't emergencies traction for me but now when I call up with my treatment case form and hands knowing exactly what I need to be done the receptionist tells me I have to pay for another set of xrays and exam even though I've only had it done for months ago and I already know what I need done I advised her that I live an hour and a half away and couldn't they accommodate me and do an extraction and an exam x-rays in the same visit and was told no and if she wanted to it would be September which is 5 months away so I may have to drive to Salem which is a good four hours one way to find a dentist that I can afford on my $900 a month in time as a single mom. if anyone from the corporate office would like to call me and make this right it would be appreciated or email me. by the way according to the treatment plan in my hand I need a crown buildup and an extraction on the same tooth! How is that possible? And worse that tooth had been pulled long ago! So which tooth are they recommending that I need a crown build for $165 and an extraction for $101 on the same missing tooth! tooth is not even there!!! tell me how does a dentist make such a mistake to put down that treatment needs to be done to tooth # 2 that's not even in my mouth ! would you go back to this Dentist- no way I would! Not even if they paid me!!! Seriously! BEWARE RUDE & INCORRECT TREATMENT!!!
