6. We are a general practice. While we have a boarded surgeon on staff, we do not do major surgeries on horses. We do a lot of vaccines, dental care, lameness, and sport horse care. We also offer chiro, acupuncture, and FES, as well as reproduction. We have emergencies almost every day, ranging from eye ulcers to lacerations to colic. As a mixed-animal practice, we also see dogs and cats as well as sheep and goats, but horses are our primary patient. You will see a wide variety of things over a 2-week visit.

Vaccination
If you have an equine athlete, then the Performance Plan is for you! Designed for the active show horse, we include an extra visit to be sure minor problems are identified and addressed before they stop you in your tracks. Never worry about vaccinations being up to date or expired Coggins. Also ideal for horses under 3 years of age, who need extra vaccines to stay safe.
Behavioral Counseling
As part of our 360° approach to equine wellness, we offer accupuncture care! Our acupuncture is performed by a veterinarian, which is the safest and most comprehensive way to diagnose and treat your horse. Acupuncture addresses many aspects of horse health, from pain and mobility issues to internal and behavioral problems.
