Dr Kavaler is a very careful listener who correctly diagnosed my stomach bleeding. He advised me to have an endoscopy and scheduled it for 2 days later. I never considered having this procedure and was pleasantly surprised that this procedure was exactly was I needed.
I was really impressed by his careful listening to my symptoms and asked me questions that led to a diagnosis.

You will not be disappointed. And if you need a procedure, his wife is a leading anesthesiologist. Try and see both together.

I had two pre visit telehealth calls and then a colonoscopy. Dr. Kavaler diagnosed me with Chron's Disease, whereas every other doctor I saw said it was nothing more than hemorrhoids and wouldn't entertain giving me more than a quick physical exam. I appreciate Dr. Kavaler's willingness to find the root of the problem, and he has a wonderful temperament for the job as well.

Dr. Kavaler was amazing to work with! He took my concerns seriously, spent time listening to my symptoms, and went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of for my procedure! I never felt rushed or dismissed. I really wish all of my doctors were this great! You can tell he really cares about his patients, and I am so appreciative of his care. In two visits, Dr. Kavaler accurately diagnosed a health problem that had been troubling me for years.

The diagnostic test required preparation, and Dr. Kavaler worked with me to make the process as easy as possible. He was up to date on newer prep options, which helped a lot. He detailed each prep method’s pros and cons, then allowed me to decide which to use.

Following the test, he promptly put me on appropriate medication and detailed next steps. After years of mysterious undiagnosed issues, I’m so relieved to have a treatment plan.

Dr. Kavaler listened, asked many questions, and followed up with me within 24 hours of my procedure. He also made himself available for a post-procedure appointment, if I wished. In addition, the entire staff were organized, efficient, and very friendly.

Dr. Kavalar has been my doctor over the years. He’s thorough, easy to talk to and understand. Though the procedure is uncomfortable in nature, his manner makes you feel at ease. In all, I’m very happy to have him as my doctor.

I had a chronic problem which he properly diagnosed and sent me to the perfect expert to get my situation resolved. I am a nurse practitioner and really appreciate the time that Dr. Kavaler spends with me. I had a suspected emergency that he addressed the following day. I have referred him to several colleagues and friends and all of them had a great experience. I also want to say that the check in process at the endoscopy suite was seamless and have felt the safest regarding COVID as any medical offices I have been to. I also want to say that the nurses there are really excellent especially the nurse that put in the IV. I have never had such excellent treatment and care, and even though she knew I was a nurse she took the time to explain everything. I wish I would have gotten her name.

He explained his diagnosis and treatment plan thoroughly, ordered an additional test to confirm his findings, and even arranged for the test before I left the office.
