        James Harrington, PMHNP-BC, is a skilled and empathetic nurse practitioner on the team of providers at Mindful Urgent Care, a mental health urgent care center in New York City's Flatiron District. James was drawn to psychiatry after working as a registered nurse in medicine, surgery, trauma, and intensive care, where he found himself addressing the emotional impact of his patients' experiences in addition to treating their medical diagnoses.
