Fisher Brothers has Management Company has established itself as a broad-based investment company. It is among the nation s preeminent fully integrated real estate partnerships with construction and operating subsidiaries. Martin Fisher founded the company in 1915. Martin s brothers Larry and Zachary soon joined the company and over the next several decades, Fisher Brothers built residential properties in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Riverdale, Mount Vernon and Manhattan. The company began building commercial buildings in the mid-50s. In the mid-1970s, the company adopted a new strategy that called for selling off residential properties, continuing to develop and manage commercial real estate investments, and diversify its investment portfolio into non-real estate sectors. Plaza Construction Company was formed in 1986 and Sandhurst Associates in 1992 to provide on-site management for other building owners. Fisher Brothers is headquartered in New York, N.Y.
