Established in 2006, Esperanza provides support services to youths who are facing litigations. The organization, through a combination of structural reforms, technical assistance and direct services encourages the use of community-based services to address the needs of youths facing court cases. It works in partnership with the New York City Department of Probation and other agencies involved with the juvenile justice system. Esperanza offers an intensive treatment intervention that provides therapeutic services in the home, as well as ongoing case and crisis management. It also assists agencies and organizations in conducting data analysis and developing performance measures and other indicators that monitor outcomes. Esperanza is located in New York City.
