Aleksia graduated from a combined program receiving her bachelors degree in Rehabilitation Science and doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in 2021. Although she loved her time in Boston, she is happy to return to the state she grew up in as she was able to fall in love with the energy and atmosphere NYC provided during her clinical experiences here. Aleksia’s drive and enthusiasm for this occupation began when she was injured on the field as she has previously been a competitive athlete in lacrosse and field hockey. During those athletic years, the realization set in that this career would be most rewarding and align with her passions. She strives to holistically treat her patients and actively listen to their concerns so that their goals consistently align with the plan of care. In her spare time, you can catch her taking a Rumble Boxing class or exploring new restaurants. She currently supports a youth mentoring program, EmpowerHER- an organization created for young girls who have experienced the loss of their mother, and one day hopes to run the NYC Marathon as their sponsor!
