        The Electric Zoo is New York's "It" electronic music festival. Taking place over the three-day Labour Day weekend on New York City's cozy Randall Island, the Zoo draws in over 80,000 revellers a year. In celebration of all forms of electronic music, from breakbeat to trance to UK garbage, its four main stages play host to some of the world's best and most cutting-edge DJs. Past lives have included David Guetta and Armin van Buuren. The loaded set lists are what keep guests coming, and they leave their self-consciousness back on the mainland: dancing is more than encouraged!
