Coastal Rental Center

My wife went today to get info on renting chairs and tables for our baby shower the person helping her was very rude and seemed like he didn't want to help her out so we will not be using there service

I rented a small farm tractor to grade 2 acres to prepare for seed. I rented it from a person named Jim who has a very smug tone in his voice, to try to make customers feel as if he is doing them a favor by allowing them to spend money in the store he works at. The front seal began leaking oil.after 3 hours of use. I called and spoke to Jim, to advise him of what had occurred. He said he would send someone out, so a driver came out and advised Jim the tractor was not being abused but had started leaking oil. I asked the driver to document on my receipt, and he did .I called Jim at the Coastal Rental and he said I had purchased the accident insurance and there was no cost for repair. I told him with or without accident insurance, I was using the tractor for what is was designed for, an it should not start leaking oil. They delivered the Tractor back to my home again and after approx. 4 hours the same seal began leaking oil for the second time. However this time I received a statement for approx. $180.00 shortly after it was picked up . I called Jim at the store again, He said he found a stick in the seal and I would be charged for repair. I advised him the seal is approx. 1/2 in diameter and is up in a protected steel case, so if this is what happened a second time, it is a design flaw. At this point he now said the first repair was out of his good graces, I was not charged I said so you lied the first time about the accident insurance you stated I had purchased. I asked to speak to a manager, and with all of the attitude he could muster, ha gave me the contact of what was supposed to be a corporate office. I called the number he gave me, and it continually went to a cell phone voicemail. I left messages 3 times but I have not received a return call. I also took pictures of the leaking seal both times, and no where is there stick damage in any of my close up photos. I will not rent from Coastal Rental again, I did not like being lied to, nor do I like receiving a statement in the mail about a charges to my credit card I did not agree to. I told Jim that the free market does a good job of shutting the doors on companies that do not treat customers correctly.

What a great company, everything was perfect when the 2 delivery guys set up the items :-)

I had a party last mont and Coastal Rental supplied me with a tent, outdoor dancefloor and tables and chairs. The 40x60 tent they recomended was perfect for my party and everthing

delivered and set up on time and in geat condition. I would recomend these people to anyone having a party in the future. Thanks Guys
