Was a client for several years and they were rude and nasty every time you questioned something about their service. We also caught them several times billing us even though their service guy hadn't worked all week. On one occasion the guy managed to leave a wrong dial on and drained part of our pool and flooded our yard. Didn't even say sorry but was yelling at us when we called to ask him what he had done. They actually canceled our service after they had been paid because yet again they had not serviced the pool 3 days after the day they were suppose to. They also had our automatic vacuum for 4 days and hadn't looked at it so we asked for it back so we could get someone else to look at it. He slammed it on the counter and said we are done with you. Turns out he had removed a part and broke the a-frame when he slammed it on the counter. Original problem was needed internal parts replaced as it was running slow.

I have been a client for at least 8 years and try to go there when the rude dude is not there. Twice now the Rude Dude gave me attitude. The gracious lady is nice but the Rude Dude's customer service skills gives much to be desired.



Support small businesses but not if they are rude to you and do not appreciate your business.



I plan to return to Pinch a Penny. Better service and no attitude.

The pool guy came and when he left he left my filter leaking and pool filthy, so he came back and fixed the leak and cleaned the pool AGAIN but it still had trash and debris floating he said he would clean it again but called the owner and he told him to not clean it again because he was behind schedule. I called the owner and he tried to blame the dirty pool on the marasite coming up, but refused to have his guy come back to clean it right. I rent so I have no choice in who cleans my pool BUT I would NEVER pay for this companys service they are rude and unprofessional in my opinion! This is the second time the pool guy left with my filter leaking, the first time he almost burnt up my pump because he left the chlorinator pump on sideways and my pool had leaked out (as far as it could) and was running dry when I found it later in the afternoon.
