DON'T EAT HERE!!

Be advised the service here is unacceptable! When they get your order wrong they refuse to fix it and/or give you a refund.

Food not so fresh

I stopped in on July 12 and ordered their Creamy White Beans. I got my order at a great service time but when I made it home to eat, the beans tasted as if they came out if a can!!!! I've eaten Poppas white beans before and they never tasted nor did they look stiff like these... I'm very disappointed because I spent 17.00 on 2 plates. I spoke with the cashier because I was informed that a manager wasn't in. The cashier basically shut me down, so I decided not to spend my money there anymore!!! Ridiculous

Ummm..ummm..good!!

Im from New Orleans but now live in Houston. Poppas is and will always be one of my favorite places to eat. The service is fast ad the people workers are very courteous. Love the place...try it u wont be dissappointed.
