        Security is a very competitive business and we know there are many security companies to choose from. However, our customers continue to choose NOPP for a reason, and we have just about the best customer retention rate in the entire industry. Our average customer has been with us over fourteen years, and several have been with us since the 1930's! When our founder, S.C. Gurvich, retired from the FBI in 1930, there wasn't much doubt about the kind of service NOPP was committed to provide. That's why for over eighty-two years we've prospered through the Depression and every boom and bust cycle since, World War II, and Hurricanes Betsy, Katrina, Rita, Gustav, Ike and Isaac. Because quality is so important, we've limited our operations to Louisiana and the Gulf Coast, where we can give every customer the personal attention and service that makes all the difference.

        Early 2015, we had a house fire and had to have immediate guard service to secure and patrol the damaged property. I called NOPP and guard service arrived that afternoon. Further, NOPP suggested installing a video camera surveillance system, battery powered since the property did not have electricity, and were prompt to install the system with 7 perimeter cameras that are motion sensor activated and night vision capable. The system is in direct communication with the NOPP office and sends an alert when the system detects a perimeter breach. Warning signs are posted regarding the system around the property. I'm pleased to say that the system works and we have not had a security breach since it was installed 14 months ago. The system is very reasonable compared to having a security guard on the premises 24/7. NOPP also manages and provides manpower and vehicles for the the Garden District Security District where the property is located, and they are quick to respond when needed.

        New Orleans Private Patrol has been in business for over 80 years for a good reason. They are good at what they do. Their expertise and professionalism is apparent throughout the organization. Their employees are well trained, courteous and businesslike in all matters. If security is important to you, you should contract with this firm.
