New Jerusalem Car Wash and Detailing

I had seen this place a bunch of times. It's right across from the old Fisher housing development and I wanted to give them a try. It was Wednesday morning, and I was needing to get my car washed before a road trip. There were a few employees washing cars, I pulled up and a man promptly came to my window. I said, "I just needed a wash, a little wipe down and a vacuuming." He asked me to unlock my back door and let him have a look. He opened the door, quickly closed it, and said, "You have grass in there, the carpets CANNOT be vacuumed and will have to be shampooed." I know there was minimal grass, but I live alone, I'm not an outdoorsman, and I drive a Nissan Versa; my car is neither dirty, nor large. He asked me to come inside and look at their pricing. On the board at the front counter, he chose the $150 detail, said I HAD to get that selection and then an additional $20 to have it washed. Apparently if I spend $150, they can't even throw in a free wash. I declined politely and left. It's a shame, I had stopped at the ATM before I arrived ready to pay up to $60 for a basic wash and interior cleaning, but the gentleman said he could do nothing else for me; $170 or nothing.

Either he didn't want to do business with me, or he saw me as an easy mark. I would sternly warn anyone from going their. I gave them a chance and tried somewhere new. NEVER AGAIN. Please, Please, Please take your business elsewhere.

I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I decided to treat my car to a full detail. I had been wanting to get one for months. They did a horrific job. They make you pay before they do your car and I can see why. I would have never given them 150 dollars for the 20 job they did. My car is now smeared up with uneven amoral all over my dash, trim and doors. And my brand new leather seats were conditioned on top of dirt and not cleaned. I had to bring it back because they did such a crap job the first time and when I came back the next day the employee kept coming to get me so I could see if he did a good enough job over and over. I kept pointing out the same things that weren't getting cleaned over and over. Finally I just gave up. I am so disgusted they offered me another free wash. I will never go to this place again and make sure I tell everyone not to go here too.

Had my car detailed today 5/21/15 and the seat was torn during the cleaning process. I spoke with the manager, who contacted the owner, who did not want to entertain what I had to say. These type of businesses I hate patronizing because of this type of action. I hope no one use this business because of the carelessness of the guys doing the cleaning and denying their mistake.
