He held faculty appointments in the Departments of Surgery at both Yale and Harvard.

Botox
The process of aging leaves its mark on our faces in the form of frown lines, forehead creases and other facial lines. Botox® Cosmetic, Dysport®, and dermal fillers such as Sculptra™, Juvéderm®, Restylane®, and Radiesse®, are skin rejuvenation cosmetic procedures designed to reduce these signs of aging.
Brow Lift
As we age, a sagging forehead with sleepy, drooping brows can make us look tired, older than our years, and can even interfere with vision. Sometimes patients just need their upper eyelids done, but some people need a brow lift.
Eyelid Surgery
You won’t have to worry so much about concealing wrinkles or other imperfections with heavy make-up and facial products. You won’t have to worry about drooping skin impairing your vision, or how a smile makes you look older than you are. Eyelid surgery is usually only necessary once—the results last for a very long time.
Liposuction
Not an alternative to diet and exercise. Regardless of whether we have liposuction or not, we must continue to diet and exercise for our entire lives. We eat calories and we burn calories, but if we eat more calories than we burn, our bodies will store those calories as fat. Each of our bodies has its own preferred storage sites where our it likes to store the extra calories as fat. These are the places where we store the most fat and where we typically want to have liposuction. Even if we lose weight, our bodies will hold on to fat in the preferred storage sites longer than anywhere else. Liposuction is the only way to target those specific areas; diet and exercise can’t target specific fat deposits.
Breast Augmentation
Many women seek the expertise of Dr. Moses when they are having emotional or physical difficulties with their implants from previous breast augmentation surgery. In the last few years, more women have come to our office for implant removal than those requesting new implants.
Breast Reduction
Some women have too much of a good thing. If your breasts are so large that they cause pain, emotional distress, or both, you should consider breast reduction. Of all the operations plastic surgeons do, breast reductions have the highest rate of patient satisfaction; it can literally be a life-changing procedure for women burdened by excessively large breasts.
Breast Lift
Mastopexy is one of Dr. Moses’ favorite procedures. Some lucky women have skin with good elasticity and despite pregnancies, weight fluctuations, and years of gravity, their breasts remain firm and youthful. For other women, gravity, genetics, breastfeeding, and aging can cause their breasts to sag, lose volume, and look empty. A breast lift does not make breasts bigger, but it tightens the skin to change the shape of the breasts, making them look less droopy and more rounded.
Rhinoplasty
For your safety and comfort, your rhinoplasty will be performed under general anesthesia as an outpatient. Depending on your specific concerns and what it will take to address them, Dr. Moses may perform either an open or closed rhinoplasty. For an open rhinoplasty, a small incision will be made in the columella (the space between your nostrils) and in the nose. For a closed rhinoplasty, the only incisions will be made inside the nose.
Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction after mastectomy includes reconstructing a natural-looking breast mound and nipple to help women feel more confident and comfortable after their breast cancer treatment. Depending on your unique needs and goals, Dr. Moses will discuss with you the breast reconstruction options for you.
Plastic Surgery
Moses Plastic Surgery offers a wide variety of state-of-the-art non-surgical options for patients looking to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, rejuvenate their skin, and reduce cellulite without having to undergo plastic surgery. Our skin is too important to leave to hit-or-miss over-the-counter potions. We use the medical model, creating a chart for each patient with the skin history, including all the treatments given and the results. Our treatments, products, and recommendations are based on science, not marketing or social media.
Thigh Lift
Face Lift
Facelifts can turn back the effects of gravity, exposure to the sun, and daily stress by removing excess skin, tightening the cheeks and neck, and sculpting the fat and muscles beneath the skin. If you have loose skin or jowls hanging from your face or beneath your chin, and it bothers you, then it’s time for facelift.
Neck Lift
After your neck lift, you’ll spend some time in a private recovery room as you wake up from anesthesia. You will be able to return home that day, though you’ll need a designated driver and someone to help you around that first evening.
Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty is often performed together with other facial surgeries. During your consultation with Dr. Moses, the two of you will decide which procedures you want in order to get you where you want to be.
Abdominoplasty
Abdominoplasty is performed under general anesthesia in our outpatient operating room. Patients can go home or can spend the night in one of our guest suites.
Nose Surgery
During your consultation, discuss your goals with Dr. Moses, and he will tell you realistically what he can and can’t do. Nose surgery procedures are often performed in conjunction with other surgeries, especially those designed to increase nasal breathing. Together, you both will decide exactly which procedures he will perform in order to achieve your personal desired results.
Body Lift
We do a wide variety of tummy tucks, including the mini-tummy tuck, muscle-tightening tummy tuck, full abdominoplasty, extended abdominoplasty, and circumferential abdominoplasty or lower body lift. Dr. Moses will explain which of these procedures he suggests for you and may give you options as to which procedures would benefit you. Most of the patients who have a tummy tuck also have some liposuction at the same time.
Breast Surgery
Dr. Moses will talk to you about what you want, examine you, and discuss with you your options for breast surgery. Some women have breasts that are excessively droopy and need lifts; some women have breasts that are too small and need breast implants; and some women need both. If you need both, it can be done as a single stage procedure under the same anesthetic as an out patient. Dr. Moses will explain to you the options available to you, as well as the pros and cons of each option. He will work with you to figure out the individualized plan that works best for you.
Otoplasty
Otoplasty can be performed at any age, as long as the child is “on board” with the idea having surgery. Otoplasty for a child can help him or her avoid a lifetime of embarrassing ridicule and uncomfortable adaptations from large or unusually shaped ears. For adults, otoplasty (ear pinning) can address life-long concerns about their appearance and ear shape.
Scar Revision
All of us are self-conscious about the appearance of scars, especially facial scars. Scars can also interfere with the function of the eyes, mouth, or nose. If you have wondered how scar revision might improve your appearance, your self-confidence, or your facial functions, scar revision may be helpful for you.

Gynecomastia
Enlarged male breasts are a surprisingly common condition. If you have had a history of cancer, liver disorders, or the use of certain drugs (anabolic steroids, alcohol, marijuana, estrogen medications, etc.), these factors can contribute to gynecomastia. However, the vast majority of men whom Dr. Moses treats for gynecomastia have no known cause. If you are interested in gynecomastia surgery, we encourage you to come and talk with Dr. Moses.
Cosmetic Surgery
In addition to cosmetic surgery, Dr. Moses dedicates a significant part of his time to the Cleft and Craniofacial Team at Children’s Hospital of New Orleans. Dr. Moses started the team in 1986; it’s now one of the largest teams in the country. Dr. Moses is well known for his work with children who are born with clefts and craniofacial abnormalities.
Dermabrasion
Dr. Moses will explain how scar revision works and what you can realistically expect. Dr. Moses will go over all your options, including non-surgical ones such as scar creams, injectable fillers, and dermabrasion. Dr. Moses sometimes recommends Biocorneum scar treatment cream. He will address your questions and provide you with all the information you will need. Together, the two of you will decide which procedures you want to achieve your desired results.
Facial Implants
For cheek augmentation, Dr. Moses makes an incision inside your upper lip. For chin enlargement, he makes an incision in your mouth or under your chin. For jaw enhancement, he makes the incision inside your mouth. If you are undergoing an additional facial procedure at the same time that requires incisions, Dr. Moses will make every effort to use those same incisions to place your implants. We use a wide variety styles and sizes of facial implants; Dr. Moses will discuss the choices with you and show you why he recommends the specific implants for you.
Chin Augmentation
Neck lifts are often combined with other facial surgeries, such as a facelift or chin augmentation. Together, the two of you will decide which procedures you want and what works for your priorities.
Forehead Lift
For your safety and comfort, your forehead lift will be performed while you are under general anesthesia, typically as an outpatient. Brow lift surgery typically takes 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on the severity of your concerns.

Chemical Peels
We offer a variety of chemical peels. For slightly deeper exfoliation. A chemical peel can target many skin problems, including pore size, splotchy hyperpigmentation, fine wrinkles, acne, and sun damage. Chemical peels can also stimulate collagen, thereby reducing mild acne scarring and making the skin tighten and less likely to wrinkle.
