Dukes, Divas and Dolls, "Party Cafe"

This was the WORST party experience. It wasnt my party. I couldn't help but see the owner and her husband do any & everything to serve the absolute worst. I am heartbroken that my family had to endure such bad business practices. after trusting & paying big $to have an event. I can start w/the horrible attitude of the owner & her staff the ENTIRE EVENT, orthe the security harassing All our guest @ a Family event. I could tell u about the sour faced bartender, serving drinks NOT PAID FOR BY THE CAFR, she never cracked a smile the whole party The owner is very nasty and underhanded... She threatened to cancel the party AFTER THE THOUSANDS were paid, because she didn't like the guest. Who complained about aggressive sucerity. I will NEVER have another event there nor recommend any one to do "businesses" with these people.. My family traveled from Chicago, Atlanta, & Texas just to be treated with disrespect. it was total kayos the entire night, thanks to the owner & untrained staff

Bad business the owner Dewanda and her husband are in cahoots with officer Doucette! Everything all good when she collecting your money but the day of event she have some mess with her. Her husband is arrogant and he controls her. After we ask for tables to be moved words were exchanged their favorite police officer Doucette was called and he charged $240... But yet I already had security paid for because he Dewanda didn't include it in the package. Bad business they don't know how to conduct or treat Thierry customers. They have poor customer service. Do not waste your money go elsewhere. Be careful they are in a scheme with Officer Doucette. I also heard they steal liquor so be extra careful

My sister and I both gave our daughters a Sweet 16 party at this venue.The hall is a beautiful.However the owner Dewanda and her puppy(husband) demeanor is horrible towards their customers.First of all she's the only venue owner that does not include security which she should.And the only venue owner I know that sits there during your event.How can you say security is required for 150 people or more in your contract? Then during set up you're texting the customer asking if they have security.Why not include security in your price? Discuss this before the event. No one can really say how many of the invited guest will show up that way if you have 20 or 200 security is already there.Now to them She started complaining about the kids charging their phones in the place.Then she said if the kids are kept inside we don't need security of course we'll give it our all to make sure that happens.Dewanda claim some boys were smoking outside but didn't point the boys out so we could've handle that.She turned on the heater,locked the gates preventing others from coming in.I should've called the fire marshal.Her husband was overheard saying he was going to turn off the circuit breakers all that because a young lady who was trying to enter the party was handling her bad then she called some Sheriff Deputues I guess who usually work details for her.They came in like they were NOPD and told the Dj to turn off the music the party was over.I can't remember what she (the owner) said all I know is her hand was in my face.I caught a flashback.But,after I spoke my peace and they knew I know what time of day it was they tried to rectify the situation saying we can continue the party. Dewanda agreed to it because she knew she was wrong.By now the Dj equipment is being put up...So as we were determine to stay our full paid 4 hours so that kids wouldn't be left outside unattended because the party was shut down early... She threatened to get her gun for my cousin...But Lord knows best he help her with choosing her words with me.I actually referred her to plenty of peple.Now I'm now relent that decision...I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone as beautiful as it is in there..
