I felt obliged to write a review of Michaels Auto Center which is without a doubt, as a repeat customer, the best place to buy a car on the internet. I am surprised to see the previous two reviews but since they went to 100% eBay and overhauled the business with Barry, the new owner, this is a great place to find affordable wheels. They are wholesalers, and for a bargain price far below book value you can live with the little things that come with being a used car. Barry is the new owner and he is a young professional willing to go to the end of the earth for you. If you want a certified, guaranteed, inspected and fool proof car, pay through the roof at the retail lots. I have bought cars for every one of my family members and have sent over 20 friends their way without issue. Nicely kept used cars with a few extra miles sold in a transparent and honest way... Simply put, I wouldn't buy a used car anywhere else.

The car I received did NOT match the seller's description "..running like a swiss watch, no mechanical defects, ...shifts fine and all buttons work properly,...doesn't have a dent on it and not a dime's worth rust...no rips or tears...no smells of tobacco." Two mechanics--one a transmission specialist--diagnosed it as having a bad transmission. It also needed a new muffler/tailpipe, has a large dent and scratches on front bumper, 6 rust spots, cigarette burn in armrest, driver's seat rocks, original stereo/CD player replaced without faceplate, HVAC panel does not illuminate. BEWARE of this eBay seller!

They sold me an absolute P.O.S. Failed to disclose numerous major problems with the car, like oil leaks, heat and a/c not working, radiator leaking, power steering pump leaking, driveshaft and cv joints worn out, needs major suspension work to be safe and roadworthy. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
