Poor engineering and customer follow up. Home was delivered with major roof issues. Company said no problem with January delivery. Roof was closed in with ridge vent installed. Snow in attic next day. Light could be seen looking straight up. 5 inch gap on both sides of ridge instead of the 1.5 inch recommended by the vent manufacturer. Gable ends of ridge vent not installed per vent manufacturer. When questioned, we were told that they have been installing roofs this way for 35 years and we're not going to change. Numerous other issue from floor to cabinets. The problem is the manufacturing of the home. Not the builders.
