Apple Charlie's Orchards

I love cidermills, but this is one to absolutely avoid! They literally nickel and dime you and the staff is down right rude! I recently went with my husband and our 3 year old daughter. The hayride was $3 PER person and only children under 2 are free. I was fine paying it, but the cashier was BEYOND rude. As I pulled the money out, she rudely said "AND MAKE SURE YOU GIVE ME MONEY FOR THE LITTLE ONE. SHE IS DEFINATELY NOT UNDER 2." We had to wait over 30 mintues for someone to finally take us on the hayride, which literally lasted less then 20 mintues.



The animals were FILTHY and completely unkept. I felt so sorry for them. There is also a raging hornets nest next to the chicken pen. Actually, the entire place was FILTHY! It is $3 for less then a stingy handful of feed to give the animals, which I got for my daughter.



I purchased a gallon of cider and a dozen donuts for $15 and was absolutely SHOCKED when they charged me a NICKEL for DIXIE cups! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!? I just spent over $30 for a hayride and some donuts and these people were charging me a nickel for EACH dixie cup!





Trust me, there are a lot more cidermills that are CLEANER, with more friendly service, that don't feel the need to nickel and dime their customers. I recommend 3 Cedars Farm. Its only $5 per family for the hayride, its super clean, they have the cutest and nicest playground area for the kids, AND they dont charge you a nickel for the dixie cups!
