        Established in 1981, Marburn Academy is a nonprofit, coeducational day school that serves more than 100 students. The school s core curriculum includes language arts, math, science and social studies. It also organizes classes in music, physical education, keyboarding, digital photography and movie making. Marburn Academy s studio arts course includes painting, drawing, printmaking, weaving, wood working and ceramics. The school offers a variety of athletic activities, such as basketball, volleyball, cross country, golf and soccer. It hosts outdoor adventure trips.
