Children's Garden of Learning

We Teach the Child not the Age!! and they mean it. The staff gets to know your child's strengths, interests and skill level and they modify their lessons to meet their needs. They had a 3 year old reading at a 1st grade level and a 4yr. just beginning to learn. Each child was taught with love and attention to their develpomental age and interests. Fantastic program that needs to be experienced to understand how they accomplish so much for each child. Call and ask for Ms.Sue

My 3 1/2 year old son attends this school and absolutely loves it. This program is as unique and wonderful as each child in the program. It is a very unique program because they group the children by their interests and academic level as opposed to strictly by their age. This allows each child to develop at a pace that is comfortable for them, assuring that no one is pushed too fast and no one is inhibited from advancing when they are ready. The program is multi-modality, focusing on teaching from various perspectives (visual, auditory, conceptually), making sure that the unique way that each child learns is tuned into. It is amazing the amount of information that my son has been enthralled by, from the different types of dinosaurs and the fact that they are extinct, to our solar system, and where our earth fits in. All of this in addition to learning the traditional letters and numbers, not just visually, but learning the sounds of the letters, and also learning them in sign language. The development is just truly amazing! The Childrens Garden of Learning has integrated the best of all of the traditional preschool programs; play-based, Montessori, Waldorf, etc., and developed a truly unique and personal program that really reaches and engages the children. I can not say enough about this school and my amazement at what and how my son has learned. I truly believe his time here is providing a wonderful foundation for his future learning. My 4 kids went to this school! The teachers are the best I have ever come across! Everyone I have recommend to them love them as much as I do!! Any situation that came up Ms Sue had encouraging words and ideas for me to try, if that didn't work she would help me come up with something else until we got it right, absolutly invaluable!! The different programs they offer are second to none!! When I think of Children's Garden of Learning the words Totally Awesome come to mind.
