Whynn was such an easy company to work with. I called them on a Friday and they were able to offer me an appointment the very next morning - and on a Saturday no less! Dwayne was the electrician that came to my apartment. He arrived on time and was personable and incredibly knowledgable. Dwayne was quickly able to fix the lighting problem that left my contractor puzzled. I would definitely use Whynn Electric Corp. again and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an electrician in NYC.

It was a Friday and I was doing my hair for a party I was having later that night. All of the sudden the lights in my bathroom and kitchen blew out, fixing the circut breakers did nothing. I called seven Electricians but no one could come out. My stove was off and my hot water heater was not going to make hot water without electric. How could I get ready for a party in a dark bathroom? I called Whynn based on all the reviews I saw online. Dwayne gave me some free advice on how to fix my situation when that didn't he sent Steve. Steve did a great job and let me know exactly what was wrong. Considering this was Friday call and an emergency, the price was right! I would definitely use this company again over other companies that gave me the run around. Plus they take credit cards! :)

We had a large dining room pendant lamp & several dimers installed. We are very happy with the service we received from Dwayne & his associate from Whynn Electric. Dwayne returned my call promptly & answered all my questions regarding the estimate. The price was fair in regards to other estimates, but I was most impressed because they were one of the few companies that had a set price & did not charge per hour. (As I heard nightmares about hourly rates) The day of the job, they arrived on time & were extremely friendly. They even swept & cleaned up after the job was done.



I would highly recommend them & plan on using them again in the future!

I hired Whynn Electric Corp to fix some electrical issues in my office. Dwayne was professional, friendly and helpful with answering my questions. I know nothing about electrical issues so he was patient with me as well. All the work was done on time and quickly! I would use them again in a heart beat and recommend them to anyone in need of an electrician.

Dwayne was professional, friendly and patiently answered any questions. He did not charge me some over the top crazy price (As a brand new homeowner, I was a bit nervous about having to call an electrician). And when I sent him an email later that week regarding a new problem with one of the outlets -- he arranged to come right out within the week.

I had Whynn Electric Corp. add a breaker to a panel for some inground heating and troubleshoot three light switches. What they weren't sure of, they researched and resolved. You have to appreciate that type of workmanship. All work was done above board and in a timely manner. Will use company again in the near future.

we used dwayne for two projects in the past six months and were very pleased with his work. he was punctual, polite, professional and skilled. one job was simple and the other was a double wall sconce installation in our baby's room. dwayne was careful to keep the project clean and finish on time in an effort to not disturb the baby and keep him out of his room too long. we definitely recommend dwayne and his team and will not hesitate to use him again.

Dwayne installed a new in-wall 4-receptacle outlet and replaced two 2-receptacle outlets. He did an extremely thorough job, including plastering and cleaning the work area. We finally found an electrician who actually cares about his customers and the quality of his work!
