        Overall

        Over the last eight years I have had Tri City Gutter/Roofing work on 2 of my homes and also my Mothers home and the PROFESSIONALISM and QUALITY of work was excellent, I would HIGHLY recommend Tri City to anyone who wants quality and the job done right.

        Had a roof put on about 3 years ago and now shingles are falling off and they are brittle and cracking. When I called the company they said they would charge to come out and look. Said we had high winds and thats why they were falling off. Said they only had to put 2 nails in each which it is really suppose to be 4. Right after the install we called and explained that they looked crooked and he just blew us off with some lame excuse. Vickie one of the family members was great to deal with but no longer there do to differences. Huh wonder what that was, maybe she didn't like how they treated customers. I would never recommend this company. Only put 1 star because I couldn't post without putting a star.

        Beth & Thomas Peters Sorry to hear you are unhappy. We strive to provide quality work and good customer service. After reading your post I am concerned I failed to communicate well with you because we would NEVER charge to respond to a customers concern. Following your roof install you did question that the shingles looked "crooked" to which I immediately responded by doing a thorough roof inspection focused on this. I found the shingles to be installed straight and true to the house. I offered no "lame excuse" only my findings. Our written transferable five year labor warranty covers installation issues only. It is not a maintenance warranty nor a materials warranty as the shingles are warranted by the manufacturer (GAF). If you are experiencing "brittle and cracking" shingles I encourage you to report them to GAF for adjustment. We are a certified GAF installer and would be happy to assist you with this. My last contact with you was about blown off ridge shingles following a strong storm. I responded by offering to schedule a free call back the very next day to investigate the problem. I tried to communicate that if the ridge blow off was related to an installation issue we would repair free of charge per our warranty. And so as to avoid any surprises I also tried to explain to you that if upon inspection we found the shingles had been properly installed that we would complete your maintenance repair at a discounted rate. In the three years since your roof was completed there have been several storms with winds that exceeded the manufacturers wind warranty on the shingles you chose. Unfortunately even a newer roof can be damaged by high winds and require repair. And just an fyi: GAF installation directions say that ridge shingles are to be installed with two properly placed nails per shingle not four as you stated in your post. Field shingles get four nailed. We install per manufacturers specifications. Failure to follow a these installation instructions are the quickest way to void your shingle warranty.         Great Service

        Out of all of the Guttering companies I called they were one of the only ones to pick up the phone. The price came in alot lower than anybody else and the quality of work was more than exceptional. I wish all contractors would have great service like this.
