Austin T. Please let us know who you are as we do not have you in our records and our workers are never at someones house at 7am. They usually don't leave the yard until 7:30 on early days. So sorry if you felt they were there earlier.

They started work the very next morning bright and early at 7am, violating the noise ordinances we have in place that prohibit excessive noise until 8am. If you want to make your neighbors hate you forever, call these guys.

Tom's Tree Care is an outstanding company. Tom is so successful in what he does because he has been in the business for so long. I would disregard any negative comments especially because they are untrue. Tom would never tell a customer that he will not come out because of gas prices. He would never hangup on anyone, as he has spent almost a half hour on the phone with me discussing other options than just removing my trees for money. He has gone out of his way to take care of my parents, and sister who are 30 minutes away. I would say he has the best prices around, and he has done the work the best compared to other local tree companies. His crew is very polite and wiling to answer any questions. I would have to agree with the comment below mine, with the fact that it is probably another company competing. Overall I would recommend tom's tree care to everyone I know, and him only as I have had horrible experiences with other local companies.

I have used this company several times. I don't understand why people would write such nonsense about not coming out to do estimates. This company always comes right out! They also have the best prices.

The owner and crew are very nice and respectful. They always made sure that they would not wreck my plants. They also do a wonderful clean-up.

They travel all over. They worked at my friends in Warren and my Aunts in Lake Orion. They are fully licensed and insured. They even have their insurance company mail you a copy of their insurance certificate.

Most people don't know that for anyone to work on your property they need to carry workers comp insurance. This company carries all this insurance. They are also very honest as my Aunt had companies come out an give her estimates and they said the tree needed to be removed. Tom came out and said it just needed to be trimmed, which he did and the tree is doing great.

Always had great service and have never been hung up on. It sounds to me as if the other 2 reviews might be from competetors or someone very jealous of such a great business. Glad Tom and his family live in my town and his children go to ours schools!

Ok, so I figured that despite the one bad review I'd call for an estimate. Afterall, his business is within walking distance to my place. After Tom called me back, he informed me that because the price gas was so high he wouldn't be driving the half-mile (ONE HALF OF A MILE!!!) to the house where we needed to have trees cleared from. Then he hung up on me! I really thought the other reviewer might have just caught him on a bad day or had something up, but I'm more than nice on the phone. Wow. I wonder how he stays in business with an attitude like that. I just couldn't believe he wouldn't drive the half a mile to the property. Amazing. I'll defintely go elsewhere.

Called for estimate and spoke with Tom. Extremely rude on phone. Didn't want to travel 12 miles to give estimate. Said he'd rather not have the business and hung up on me.
