SVC Homes has just completed a 3 bedroom, 1 bath addition to our home along with renovating an existing bath, creating a new utility/laundry room, expanding the size of our living room and adding a deck to the rear of our house. We are very happy with the results and are enjoying the new space. The team at SVC provided us with quality work in a timely manner. Sandro was so easy to work with and was very professional. If we have any projects in the future, SVC will be the one to do the job for us.

SVC has performed both large and small residential projects for me, all in outstanding fashion. Sandro and his team when doing kitchen, bathroom and flooring renovations there work was always on time, thorough with costs that were very reasonable. Highly recommend this company.

We love our remodeled living room and new addition! It is beautiful and well constructed. SVC Homes did an outstanding job. Projects: remodeled our living room which was originally a dry walled garage. SVC gave us cathedral ceilings, a fireplace with two new windows on either side and beautiful hardwood floors. The second project was turning a tiny unusable sun room into a larger addition plus mud room. The sun room has French doors and skylights! SVC did a beautiful job. When any problems arose, Sandro ensured they were addressed immediately. He is personable, friendly and professional. We will definitely be using SVC Homes in the future. We hired a contractor to construct an addition that turned out to be a nightmare, and was doing less than sub-standard work. They told us that it would take 3 months, but 10 months later, they still were'nt finished.



We had to let them go and a friend of our family reccommend we hire Svchomes to finish the job. We interviewed 4 new contractors and decided to hire Svchomes.

What a difference they made, it was like night and day compared to the first contractor. They listened to what we had to say, arrived on time, worked closely with us to correct errors that we did not even see. Very courteous and always left work areas clean and orderly. They took one month to correct trim work, replace a sliding glass door, redo hardibac plank exterior, redo wiring to our addition to code just to name a few things.

They were very thorough, and identified numerous errors including fractures in a main support column in our kitchen. This would have eventually made our new addition fail. The list goes on. If you need work done, we were very satisfied and highly reccomend Svchomes!

I came to know Sandro and his company while he was engaged in a complete renovation of my neighbor’s basement apartment in northwest Washington, D.C. During the demolition and construction, I frequently visited the construction site where Sandro’s foreman took the time to answer my questions about structural changes of ceiling joists, depth of adjoining footers, and adjustments in wastes lines.



As time passed, the project began to take shape. What was a hole beneath a circa 1900 town home was now becoming a light-filled apartment and the envy of the neighborhood.



About a year or so went by when I was overcome by envy from my neighbor’s project. I was motivated not so much by ‘keeping up with the Jones’, rather I wanted my basement apartment to benefit from maximum sunlight and an open entry area. I began to engage in the traditional ‘due diligence’ by making inquiries from neighbors and friends in the Metro area asking for contractor recommendations; however, I kept going back to Sandro and his workmanship that I witnessed first-hand from start to finish.



After a series of negotiations, Sandro and I committed to a contract and within a day or so of securing signatures, Sandro’s crew was on site demoing my front patio and stairs. We had agreed to a four week completion date and although the project’s start was during the week of Thanksgiving, to my surprise, the entire project (removal of front patio and entry stairs, installation of new flagstone patio and fabricating and installing a new iron stairway) was completed 11 days ahead of schedule.



What was most remarkable about this process was the responsiveness from Sandro himself. Although he was not on site, whenever I had a question/concern, he returned my phone call or email within a matter of hours—not days—this is the quality of service that one not only expects from his contractor, but actually receives with Sandro's personal touch.
