St. Patrick Center, a nonprofit, multiservice agency is one of Missouri's largest providers of services for the homeless. The faith-based social service agency has been operational since 1983, and provides various programs of self-sufficiency for individuals. Its programs include women's night, casserole, veterans' employment, mobile outreach and transportation assistance programs. It also offers Substance Abuse Treatment, Rosati Transitional Living Center, Child Drop-in Center, McMurphy's Grill, operation independent housing and job skills training. Through its Shamrock day program, the center offers psychiatric assessment, job training, employment and housing to homeless people suffering from mental disorders and substance abuse problems. Its Shamrock evening program supports newly-housed and newly employed clients. It offers socialization, support, educational opportunities, and 12-step meetings in a safe, drug-free environment. St. Patrick Center is located in St. Louis.
