St. Luke's Urgent Care

I went to St. Luke's urgent care after a car accident back in February. I was told not to submit my health insurance since they can charge it to the other party's car insurance. She told me if the car insurance rejected the claim I would only have to submit my health insurance and pay the copay ($50).

She neglected to tell me there is a physician fee AND a facilities fee. I got bills in the mail after service. I paid the facilities fee thinking this was the only bill (I had to call twice and pay twice since it wasn't done right the first time). I did not notice there were two different bills since they were about the same amount of money.

I was out of the country for 2 months and when I returned I saw a letter from a collection agency. It was apparently the bill for the physician fee. On top of the $50 already paid, they wanted another $134.90.

Gosh this place is just incompetent from start to finish. I could've went down the street to FastTrack urgent care and paid a normal doctor's visit copay ($25) TOTAL.

I would not recommend this place at all. The employees have no idea how much you will get charged and TWO charges??? REALLY?! Apparently what they tell you doesn't mean anything.
