I first worked with Rowan Heating & AC over a year ago during a very hot heat wave. With the Assistance of Rowan we discovered that my capacitor went bad and they worked with me to get a new one even though they were unable to come out on a service call due to the high demand of service calls they had at the time. I told myself then If I had any other Problems with my HVAC system I would contact them first. A year later my A/C system started Icing up so I called. They promptly responded and corrected the problem. They advised me of the problems occurring with my overall system. Ads I have been unhappy with my system since I moved into the house 5 years ago we discussed the advantages to a new system. With Honesty and respect Rowan presented all my options. I decided to replace the furnace unit and the A/C Condenser Coil. Upon Removal of my old system Rowan Service members informed me of ducting and intake problems which contributed to the inefficiency of my old unit. Rowan’s Team of Service men were Courteous, Respectful and Discussed everything along the way. I have never had a more positive experience with any Contractor or Service person since moving to Maryland in 1989. I Recommend Rowan Heating & AC to everyone wanting Honesty and Integrity in a company.

Our HVAC inside unit was leaking water all over the floor. My husband was pretty sure it was a clogged drain but was not able to fix it himself because of recent surgery. We called A*S, a large HVAC company we had used in previous years, but weren't real happy with. I told them the problem and that we were pretty certain it was a clogged drain. They said a tech. would be out that pm. The tech. arrived but then proceeded to tell my husband he didn't have any equipment to fix a clogged drain! A large HVAC company and the tech. doesn't have the equipment to fix a clogged drain!!!??? I called the co. back and they said they would send someone else but it would be later in the evening, but there would be no additional charge. Hrs. later, the tech. called and then told us we would be billed double time since it was after hours. We told them to forget it.



I then came to yellowpages.com and found Rowan. When I read all the reviews, I called them. They told me they would try their best to get someone out that pm. Sure enough, our tech., Alan, arrived right on time. He had all the equipment needed to fix the clogged drain and then serviced our unit. We were both very impressed with Alan and especially Rowan. Not only their great customer service but also the fact they are family-owned. Alan fixed our unit and it is working great. We have found a new HVAC company that we will use from now on. Rowan is a great company and we were especially pleased with their affordability. Great to find a company in today's world that isn't out to rip-off the customer. Thanks, Rowan!! We'll definitely be calling you again!

Rowan fixed my broken air conditioner the same day that I called. They quickly generated an estimate for a replacement (I was planning on replacing my unit as it was very very old). After accepting the estimate, they replaced the unit the next day. Their service is very timely, and they pride themselves on excellent customer service and attention to detail. That is certainly what I experienced.



In addition, the employees who performed both the fix and installation were willing to answer all of my questions (I am a technician's nightmare -- just interested in all aspects) as well as my children's. I really appreciated the insight into what they were doing -- their willingness to explain each step made me confident that they were doing everything diligently.

I had called Rowan on a busy day after a long holiday weekend for AC service and they were able to fit me in at the end of a long day. I am a contractor and this company was exactly what I was looking for. A Family owed and run, multi-generational business. Russ was very knowledgeable and to the point in finding the solution to the problem. He offered suggestions to prevent further service issues and did it all at a great price. I would highly recommend Rowan to anyone.

From the first phone call to the end result which is my A/C is working great, It was a real pleasure to work with the people at Rowan. In speaking with Theresa on the phone, I found her courteous, patient, knowledgable and extremely helpful. She walked me through several steps as we made an effort to avoid a service call troubleshooting ideas and suggestions. Although, that did not work, the next day the technician, Jimmy showed up and he was as fantastic to work with as Theresa. Within 45 minutes, he had the problem solved and we were up and running. He was very personable and just a pleasure to work with.



I would recommend Rowan to anyone who is looking for something that is very rare in today's world. A service company that is a pleasure to work with and who are looking for the customers best interest.

We have been using Rowen for the past 12 years and I am always blown away with the service we receive. I have become very jaded with finding quality work in the DC area and Rowen reminds me how great contractors can be. I love the whole experience from the first call to the final product. I think the biggest plus is that it is a family business and you do feel like you are getting the best from them.



By the way, my favorite at the company is Robbie. He is so talented and such a great person to have come into your home.

I just wanted to say how nice it was to work with these folks with my recent installation of my Heat Pump. They were very helpful with regrads to resolving my problem, quickly and effectively. The two technicans that came out Jake and Alan, did a superior job with the removal and installation of my outside unit. They worked very hard and spent quality time do to the Job Right. The technician was very honest and fixed the problem. Found the source of the problem quickly. The technician was honest, knowledgeable, and the price was fair. I highly recommend them for air conditioning repairs. I just recommended them to my neighbor who was also as happy.

They have won my trust. Rowan Heating and Air Conditioning tried to help me on the phone before they sent someone out. The person on the phone spent quite a bit of time over the phone with me. They had me check a few things so I didn’t spend money for a service call if it was something easy like a tripped breaker. They did need to send Russell out and he fixed my air conditioner on a very hot day. Very, very helpful. They have won my trust. I would recommend them to my family. I did get great service.

I have used Rowan Heating & Air Conditioning and can say I think they have done a great job with both my heating and air conditioning. As a family owned business, Nick Rowan, one of the sons, has gone out of his way to do a spectacular job. I was having heating bills around $500! He was able to show me a number of things I could do as well as things he did with the system to reduce my bills and it worked. This is a company with good, conscientious employees.
