Quality Towing & Recovery

I made the call for my father who was locked out of his car, The insurance called this company who immediately send a message via text stating they would be there in 45 minutes. Two hours past and no show..called insurance again and company told them they had gone but that my father had already opened the car...they lied. They submitted the order again and was told they would be there in 15 minutes..this time I call tow company directly to confirm and was told the driver would call me back...I called them again 15 minutes later and was told they had tried calling but no one answered the phone..another lie. Thirty minutes later tow truck was there to help my Dad. Total waiting time 2 1/2 hours.

The only "quality" in Quality Towing is the quality of the excuses they give for not showing up as promised. The excuses were numerous: "stuck at another job", "there was a mixup", "will be there ASAP". The net effect is that they never showed up after a more than 2-1/2 hour wait and we had to call a different towing company.

WHEN YOU HEAR "TOW TRUCK DRIVER" YOU THINK A RUDE FAT DIRTY GUY, BUT NO SIR NOT IN THIS CASE. I WAS NOT ONLY WOWED BY THE EXPERIENCE I WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZED! THE DRIVER ARRIVED 25 MINUTES EARLY, HE HOOKED UP MY VEHICLE SAFE AND QUICK, AND ENTERTAINED ME WHILE DOING HIS JOB. IF THE CASE SHOULD EVER OCCUR AGAIN, WHERE I NEED A TOW, I WILL MAKE IT AN OBLIGATION TO USE QUALITY TOWING! WHEN THEY SAY QUALITY, THEY SURE MEAN EVERY WORD OF IT!

CONTRARY TO THE OTHER REVIEWER, I WAS ALL SMILES AT THE END OF MY EXPERIENCE WITH QUALITY TOWING. MY TOW TRUCK DRIVER WAS PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. HE ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS WITH PATIENCE AND RESPECT. I WAS VERY UPSET THAT I HAD TO HAVE MY CAR TOWED WHEN IT STARTED SWERVING ON THE FREEWAY AND I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG. I PULLED TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD, CALLED A FRIEND OF MINE WHO RECOMMENDED QUALITY TOWING, AND WAS MORE THAN HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICE. I WOULD USE THEM ANYTIME AND WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY AND EVERYBODY.

This is one of the worse tow companies out there. FIrst they quoted 50 minutes turn time and it was 135 minutes later (1 hour & 30 minutes longer than what was quoted)when they actually arrived. I called my insurance company who had arranged the tow and he told them that he was in the area and was like 5 minutes away. I hung up with them & he called me asking me where I was I told him and asked where he was and he was over 25 minutes away at that time. I called my insurance company to advise them of what I had just been advised The Tow Truck drive was extremely rude, arrogant, & pompous. I have a sports car thus the car had to be towed even though it was a flat tire that had been punctured. He got into the car and drove it over a curb then. On the way to Discount Tires, He drove like a complete idiot almost hitting a couple of cars. I have never been so scared. Then when we got to Discount Tire. He drove my car off the tow bed and cramped the wheel and ran the already flat tire over the edge of the truck causing damage to the rim If the workers at Discount Tire(Manny) had not stopped him he would of ran it off the side and done damage to underneth my car.



When I called to speak with the owner/manager they advised me he was not there but would be there in the morning, I called the next morning & was told that he would not be in until the next afternoon, I called that afternoon & now he would not be there until the next afternoon. When I asked for the owners/managers name I was told Rudy but they did not know his last night. Yea right, the Owner/managers signs your checks and you do not know his last name then they could come up with the last name but could not advise me on how to spell the last name.



Based on conversation with my insurance company they have already been removed from their list, I sure hope so.



DO not USE THIS COMPANY RUN & RUN QUICK!

The person that answered the phone on 8-28-2008 was snooty, inconsiderate and totally uncooperative. His name was Robert M. and because of him I would not reccomend this company to any one. Any company that hire such a JERK does not deserve to be in busy.
