Being in the business of towing they should know not to tow a front wheel drive on its front wheel or any car on it drive wheel.



The reason you can't tow an automatic car with the trans in neutral and the drive wheels on the ground is the trans isn't being lubricated without the engine running. The torque converter in the trans is bolted to the flywheel of the engine and the torque converter in 99% of automatic cars drives the trans pump.



Now my transmission is shot. Tried talking to the manager and that was the worst experience ever she was very rude. She claimed that the transmission shot because of me, because I am not a certified mechanic and claimed she didn’t what I did to it during the time it has been sitting in my yard where "THEY" dropped it off. The car was hit in the rear end and we have been waiting for parts to repair it, so it has not moved nor could it be moved.



Being a certified mechanic has nothing to do with them towing the car incorrectly just having the knowledge to correctly perform their service does. The car hasn't moved from where it was dropped off.

They are the best tow company in the area by far. They respond quickly when called, are inexpensive, and very courteous and professional. There would be 10 stars if they were available. Don't call Freds ever.
