Our truck broke down while traveling from Texas to Oklahoma City. The tow service took it to Purcell Automotive. They went above and beyond to fix the truck while we continued on to a funeral we were attending that day. We were able to pick our truck up on our way back home. Would highly recommend them to anyone. Heartfelt thank you to the owner and technicians for the work they did.

The worst shop I have ever dealt with. The owner's son quoted me $400 for to replace my heater core, so I consented and left the vehicle with them. I then waited a week and after hearing nothing from them, decided to give them a call and check on my car. They informed me that my car was done and that the job would cost $1300. When I asked why it was so expensive and why they didn't ask my permission, they claimed they had "lost my phone number" (they've never had a problem calling me before, it just so happens that this time, they had problems keeping up with my number). I then had no choice but to pay or let them keep my car. This is where the real problems start. I paid them anyway, even though they refused to honor the price they quoted me. Not one week later, the heater core began leaking on me. I called Elliot and he said "No worries, I stand by my work, bring it back." So I did. They kept it another week, gave me no rental vehicle or compensation for my wait, and then gave it back to me. And what happens this time? The same thing. It leaked on me again just a few days later. I took it back again and repeated the whole process. It wasn't fixed correctly the second time either; it leaked on me again just a few days later. So I took it to them a third time. They claimed it was perfect this time and Id have no more problems. They were wrong though. Several weeks later, my car started overheating. I took it to a different mechanic this time and they said that my heating and cooling system was now compromised. They found Bars Leak in my car. The only conclusion to draw from this is that Elliot got tired of trying to fix my leak and just put that gunk in there so it'd stop leaking and I'd leave him alone. He is a crook and I will never bring any vehicle of mine back to him. Save yourself money and grief and go somewhere else.
