The Powell Agency for Educational Planning LLC was created in 2008 by two educators to provide support to young people ranging in ages 13-19 academically, socially and emotionally. Our #1 mission is to help all of our students to grow and foster as learners, leaders and individuals. Below are some of the options that our educational consulting company can provide your school to help your students grow as individuals and as life- long learners. We provide training sessions in Character Education from a Biblical Perspective and Developing Life Skills from a Biblical Perspective. Character Education Character education involves teaching children about basic human values including honesty, respect, kindness, generosity, courage, decision-making, and respect. Our curriculum also addressed topics such as developing a positive self image, managing anger and aggression and bullying. Life Skills Education Through role playing and discussions, students can see that their decisions affect other people and things. By encouraging young people to develop life skills, our goal is to help them to resist negative influences and have the confidence to make informed and wise decisions. Having skills for life will empower young people to manage their emotions, become better responsible citizens, develop a strong sense of self-worth and build respect for self and others.
