Rose BAY needed a kayak hire area that HAD protection from the wind and busy boats. With the rose BAY park being available – the birth place was SET MID 2000 to develop the point piper kayak centre : an aquatic centre for everyone to USE. We built a shed to accommodate UP to 80 kayaks for personal storage and an area for 30 great kayak hire craft. This added UP to a great kayak hire aquatic facility AT the quiet Eastern END of rose BAY. We invested in the latest model: fast 5.2M ocean sprinters that were stable. HAD steering rudders and were of high quality plus large QUADS/DOUBLES and basic SIT on tops singles. Rose BAY park is both Family & DOG friendly & sits AT the quiet END of rose BAY. Well away from the busy areas. But in close proximity to local Cafe’s SO YOU CAN quench your thirst or enjoy a Coffee after your swim or paddle. Rose BAY park is well protected from ALL weather directions. YOU CAN HIRE/RENT a kayak in OUR rose BAY area in almost ANY weather condition making it perfect to GET OUT on the water on the mixed weather DAY. OUR experienced staff have NOT only raced for australia & NZ but have been hands on building & developing boats & kayaks since 1978.
